Dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum duuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm.
Well I just love the taste of Napalm in the mornings, don’t you?
Sorry if you don’t get this reference but really you should so it’s more sorry not sorry.
This doesn’t taste of Napalm, it might do I’ve never tasted Napalm, but it is a beast of a Highland Park, just over fifty quid a bottle too, it’s a fuller, smokier Highland Park than normal and oh my does it work.
Thanks to Highland Park for the sample although I’d already tanned half a bottle before the sample arrived.
Nose. Big peaty hit but with spicy orange hot chocolate, orange and lemon rind doused in sherry, treacle and some orange honey.
Palate. Bags of smoke, molasses and treacle, melted dark chocolate with a touch of brandy drizzled over crystallised orange and lemon pieces, stewed Lapsang Souchong tea.
Finish. That tea comes along here and lingers forever with smoke and a sweet back note.
Best Highland Park I’ve had since the Edinburgh Whisky Independent 15 Year Old bottle.
