Looks like Hello Hawk might not be able to make it along until later on Tuesday, but we’re thinking of combining some Apocalypse with the Whisky and getting along to the GFT afterwards for a showing of The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue – an overlooked classic of the genre, by all accounts.

If anyone’s in favour of this, I suggest we also try out the Pot Still since it’s an easier walk to the cinema afterwards. Congregate between 17:00 and 18:00 and take in the movie at 20:40. What do you think?

  1. I can honestly say I would rather go to the dentist than the cinema, in fact in the last 10 years I’ve been to cinema once and the dentist 8 times, and that’s sober let alone pissed and needing to go to the loo every 10 minutes. Also If people turn up at 6pm then the people going to the cinema will be clock watching after a couple of hours. If you’re going to the cinema then let’s at least meet up at the Pot Still at 4pm (both Dominic and Audley Strange have said yeah to 4pm at Oran Mor) which gives us ample drinking time and allows me to get in early to work out a decent tasting menu.
